Key Responsibilities

  • Manage e-commerce and web development projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, milestones, deliverables, and priorities remain on track.
  • Coordinate projects involving Shopify, NetSuite, web development, integrations, and third-party applications.
  • Create, manage, and track Jira tickets, ensuring requirements, priorities, assignments, dependencies, and status updates are accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate closely with Shopify developers, NetSuite developers/consultants, designers, QA, operations, finance, and business stakeholders.
  • Translate business requirements into clear project requirements, user stories, technical tasks, acceptance criteria, and Jira tickets.
  • Coordinate Shopify–NetSuite integrations, including product, inventory, order, customer, fulfillment, pricing, and financial data flows.
  • Track integration issues, API dependencies, data synchronization problems, and system-related blockers through resolution.
  • Facilitate stand-ups, sprint planning, project meetings, retrospectives, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Monitor project risks, dependencies, scope changes, resources, and deadlines, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain project documentation, requirements, process documentation, meeting notes, action items, and technical decisions using Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
  • Prepare regular project status reports covering progress, priorities, milestones, blockers, risks, and upcoming deliverables.
  • Work with product and business teams to gather requirements, define priorities, and coordinate implementation across Shopify and NetSuite.
  • Coordinate website updates, Shopify theme changes, custom functionality, apps, integrations, ERP enhancements, and other e-commerce initiatives.
  • Use Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, and other AI-assisted tools to improve research, documentation, troubleshooting, QA, project planning, and development workflows.
  • Identify opportunities to improve e-commerce processes, system integrations, project workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding tasks and blockers to ensure projects continue moving forward.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Project Manager, Project Manager, Product Manager, Project Coordinator, or similar role within e-commerce, SaaS, technology, or digital product environments.
  • Hands-on experience managing projects involving Shopify and/or NetSuite.
  • Strong experience with Jira, including ticket management, backlog organization, sprint planning, prioritization, and project tracking.
  • Solid understanding of e-commerce systems, web development, APIs, system integrations, and software development workflows.
  • Experience coordinating technical teams, developers, and external vendors.
  • Understanding of Shopify–NetSuite integrations and common e-commerce data flows is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite modules, ERP workflows, or NetSuite integrations is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with Shopify themes, Liquid, Shopify apps, APIs, or Shopify Plus is a strong advantage.
  • Experience using Claude, Claude Code, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools for productivity, research, documentation, troubleshooting, or development is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and cross-functional project management.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience working with remote and distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with Confluence, Slack, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, GitHub, or similar tools.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
