Tasks Required:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects
- Perform measurements and quantity take-offs using drawings and specifications
- Assist in preparing initial estimates for project certificates
- Develop cost breakdowns and pricing schedules
- Coordinate closely with the lead estimator/manager
- Ensure all estimates are completed in metric measurements (non-negotiable)
- Maintain organized documentation of estimates and revisions
- Deliver work that requires review/editing only not major corrections
Requirements:
- Must have 10 years of experience in construction estimating
- Strong background in:
- Prestige residential projects
- Custom-built homes
- Small to medium commercial projects
- Industrial sheds
- Apartments and townhouses
- Retail developments
- Experience in custom/prestige builds (not project home estimating)
